A rainbow within is what I see.
A life beyond is what I seek.
A pot of gold I have found.
To share with all I am bound.
It's bright and twinkles as you smile and look.
Be not afraid, love, there are no hooks.
Take a piece to your heart and pray.
You will find that love and peace are not far away.
Shut your ears and you will hear.
Close your eyes, and do not cry
For life is eternal, if you believe.
Have faith love and you will see.
I am content living in this tent.
Even if one day I paint no more.
Still in my heart love is sent
For my Savior lives forever more.
You say, "You are not blue."
I think not your words are true.
For how can you be in that place.
And say I am full of grace.
It's the love I've found
That keeps me sound.
It's the music between the notes I hear
Love sings to my heart so dear.
My time has come, my words are done.
I am not alone, nor am I my bones.
At fifty-five I will fly.
For the version I cannot deny.
